We are a Lodge that has sponsored tourism and scientific research in the Amazon basin of Ecuador since the creation of the Lodge and the establishment of the reserve in 1979, to show its visitors the beauty of the Cuyabeno wildlife reserve. We offer standard tours of four or five days in our native-style cabins, as well as longer tours through the mysterious waters of the Cuyabeno River. Sucumbíos Province, located north of Ecuador. One of the most impressive attractions in the Amazon is the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. Its capital is the city of Nueva Loja. Sucumbíos is known for its privileged location in the Amazon basin, its great natural wealth, biodiversity, flora and fauna that constitute a true treasure to discover. The province is bathed in beautiful rivers, lagoons, waterfalls and virgin moors belonging to the Andean zone. 


Cuyabeno Reserve: travel, tours in the Amazon The Cuyabeno Reserve is one of the most biodiverse places on the planet. Cuyabeno has the largest tropical lake systems in the country Located in the northeast of the country, in the provinces of Sucumbíos and Orellana, in the northeast of the Amazon Region of Ecuador; 377 km from Quito (7 hours) and 790 km from Guayaquil It was created in 1979 and has 603,380 hectares. The reserve is one of the protected areas with the greatest cultural diversity in the Ecuadorian Amazon, home to the Siona, Secoya, Cofán, Kichwa and Shuar communities.
